I recived an M3 Perfect Lite Micro SD with Passcard 3 from Divineo and have tried using it when I turn my ds lite on I get the message "Warning! Can not find Card. Please shut down and insert secure digital card. Or press START to continue anyway" there is a card inserted I have tried 2 different micro SD cards containing the updated firmware, and when I press start in GBA mode it goes to a blank screen and in DS mode it goes to a screen saying "This product is NOT sponsored, licensed or endorsed by Nintendo" it then flickers and freezes on this screen with the card in and out, I think the M3 is broke (shouldn't it go to the menue evan if no micro SD card is inserted), I'm happy to try anythink you can think of though, Thanks Paul. The 2 micro SD cards I have used are the A-Data MicroSD 1GB and the Kingston MicroSD 1GB, I have tried them at both FAT16 and FAT32 at several different cluster sizes
are you sure you're putting it in the right way? it should slide in easily.. not forced. i know it sounds stupid but it could be as simple as that also the card can be pushed in.. theres a spring for it in there to hold it in.. make sure its all the way in and try again if it still doesn't work, ask for an exchange
I have inserted the card in the correct way, also even without the card inserted shouldn't it go to an interface screen when I press start if someone could just check this it would be much appreciated
I am having the exact same problem as birdo84. I bought my M3 Perfec Lite Micro SD from Divineo, and it will not recognize the Micro SD card (Kingston 1gig), or go to a menue. The card works in my camera and comp, just not the M3. I'm afraid that mine is deffective and will have to be returned. Anyhelp would be appreciated
Yeah I formatted them both severall times each time I loaded the "updagcsd.e30" file onto the card and put it in only to get the same message, I have a SanDisk 1GB Micro SD ULTRA II on the way if it dosn't work with that it's going back to Divineo. can anyone answer my question that even without the card inserted shouldn't it go to an interface screen when I press start, thanks Paul
without the card inserted, it will warn you that you don't have a card and it will lead to a black screen - it will not lead to the interface screen
Thanks allot for that pakixd I'll see how it goes with the new SD card. Yeah I’m trying to update it with the SD update "updagcsd.e30" (found at \English\loader\English\SD\updagcsd.e30 from the m3 website) it just doesn’t recognize that a card has been inserted so the firmware hasn't been updated yet. Thanks for the help everyone I'll tell you how it goes with the new card.
I got my SanDisk 1GB Micro SD ULTRA II yesterday works perfect, guess this means I bought 2 micro sd cards that just wont work with the m3 checked on the m3 wiki sit first aswell darn. Thanks everyone for your help. I'm currently enjoying a game of Madden 2007 on my DS wait for the pats to kick off, yay.
I started this new thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/443733 because when I set up my M3 I used the old v30 firmware, just wanted to know when updateing the M3 firmware to V31 how do I keep my save games is it just as simple as removing the savegame file from the memory card and after the update just putting it back. I thought this was ok as a new thread sorry.
