Hi, i'm a new DS user and am very interested in purchasing an M3 simply or R4 revolution kit. Something of key interest is the mp3 abilities of these devices. Can anybody comment on the quality of the mp3 playback (using headphones)through the DS in comparison to commercial flash players? Also, will it be possible to load a homebrewed internet browser? I have heard that the opera browser needs a memory expansion in slot2 to run, i wonder what can be done without this expansion.
Last weekend I was away from home, so I loaded some mp3s onto my R4 for use while I was gone. Various music styles were included. (Rock, Techno, Metal) Honestly, I think they all sounded perfect with headphones! And still pretty good without the use of headphones.
