0. @#%F&^*HdgVtrs36cetG3Y65TRWetC5g3dD^G5$#4Cs5d^$fcW7$$# hungry. 1. no, unless you have a slot-2 device (supercard or m3 brand, btw) that can play gba backups. if so, look here. 2. look here... 3. like any NDS backup. some homebrew comes in different versions (dragonminded, chishm, no-fat), i use no-fat because it seems to work and sounds funny. also, they may also need dldi patching to get running. look here. you will need the r4 dldi download. also get the win32 gui download so you can patch. 4. check here. 5. you mean beup? why... yes, yes you can. use nofat if you want smilies. 6. yes, once they are converted to .dpg format. you may also want to look up batchdpg or dpgtools.
1)So the download for the browser is nnot available? 2)Also I'm confused about the different versions, am I able to download them with different versions or do I convert them. 3)And whats dldi???????? 4)Can you recommend me good homebrew/emulators and what they do please Thanks
1. The browser ROMs exists and there's a crack for them to operate once you have a proper RAM expansion cartridge or a slot-2 device (like an M3 Lite Perfect for DS Lite or M3 mifiSD Perfect for DS "Phat") to act as one. 2. Different versions of ROMs? There are different versions for the same game title based on the region of release: US, Europe or Japan. There is no way to convert from one to another so you must find the appropriate release for your language preference (European versions should have English). 3. See '4'. 4. For homebrew compatible with the M3 DS Simply, check out the Scorpei.com Wiki; not all existing homebrew is listed but some of the most popular ones are. Some programs may requires what is called 'DLDI patching'; more information is available at the beginning of the ' Homebrew List' section.
When I meant types, I meant the NO-FAT Chism etc thing for homebrew And for some reason, Beup can;t connect, I'm on the authnticated sending ticket and it just hangs than say the server is dead or something like that
Most people don't include builds with the different FAT libraries available (it's usually Chishm's libfat) so you won't have to choose. "No Fat" would be the safest bet if you are unsure of the compatibility. It really depends what version of Chishm's libfat was used; DLDI support was included recently however many homebrew applications are in desperate need of an update, even if it's just a recompile with the new wifi and FAT libraries. The most recent release of Beup does not have DLDI. I usually get connection failures (SSL failed) 5-6 times before it started to connect consistently. Make sure your router/AP is broadcasting an SSID and if you use WEP, do not use a 'shared key'.
just a beup tip: if you think it might disconnect or fail somehow, click retry right away to save some time. my routine for using beup is usually: connect>fail>connect>fail>connect>retry>ssl error>retry>handshake hangs~>retryx2>connected!>"dude! i'm on my ds!" make sure auto-reconnect is on. dsaim connects a lot faster, but stays connected less...
DSAIM is for AIM and also works for ICQ. Must Haves - Moonshell - DSOrganize - Beup - DSAIM Nifty - NDSMail - ComicBookDS
They sure do. I suggest taking a look at the first link in my signature for additional info and links to each homebrew's official website.
DS organise doesn't work, I just tried it says your card is not supported by chism please insert blah blah... How do I install, I put the DSORGANISE folder and the NDS file in my HOMEBREW folder on my micro sd card
Sorry for hijacking, but would these work equally as well on an R4? I understand R4 and M3 are virtually the same, though not quite.
3dluis: Sorry, almost missed your post because of the ads. Here is a quick installation guide. If I recall correctly, DSOrganize (folder and nds) doesn't like being anywhere other than the root dir of the microSD card. :[
