i signed up here like 5 minutes ago.. so please dont hit me if this is in the wrong section.. i borrowed two dvds (stash 17 and 18, not movise but a series of clips) and i burned stash 17 fine to my hard drive. ive just put in stash 18 and i get i/o error - cant read dvd file format. im really scared to hit the go button because its not my dvd and dont want to break it.. help please?
don't worry your computer can't break the dvd, it's only reading it and since it's already been burnt it cant be burnt again, so go ahead and continue your rip, and for future reference its ripped to my hard drive not burned to it, i'm not quite sure what your question is but don't worry you cant at all damage a disc that is being ripped. since your running mac use handbrake its great!! http://handbrake.m0k.org/ also try -- http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-ripper-mac.html cheers - tripplite
