does the macbook use any special notebook ram or hard drive or does it just use standard parts? i ask this because im not sure whether to buy a macbook with the extra ram and hard drive space or is it easy just to install your own?
im not sure about the HDD, but i know for the ram, you can use any ram as long as its the same type. you can google about it, and a lot of people have said that notebook ram will work on the macbook pro as long as its the right type. my sister also tried it and it worked. oddly enough, newegg and other online stores has a section for notebook ram and one for apple ram, but i dont know why, they work on both systems.
