I am unable to install Flash Player (Windows XP Home). When I go to Macromedia Flash Player Download Windows and click Install Now, the Flash Player window opens without pictures (just a little box with an x)and nothing happens. No error messages,it just sits there. Please help.

If it said it was successful, then that is all that is needed.
It is an ActiveX Control that is installed in your browser.

Example: If you have XP SP2.
Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options... > Programs tab > Manage Add-ons... > Show Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer > Shockwave Flash Object
