Hey all, i have recently been using DVD Shrink and DVDXCOPY to backup some of my DVDs. most of them have been fine but recently some of them have frozen about 25 minutes into the movie. Im not sure how this has happened, but someone suggested that it is the copy protection from macrovision? I don't know whether this is true or not. Can somebody please tell me if the copy protection isn't removed before burnng to DVDR will it pause half way through the movie? Many thanks
Macrovision is used on some DVDs to prevent them from being copied to VHS. DVD Shrink removes Macrovision. http://www.dvddemystified.com/dvdfaq.html#1.11 What you describe sounds like a media problem. Is this a momentary freeze? What burning program are you using?
