Hi, Have a Moto V220 on Rogers network in Canada. Two-part question for everyone, hoping someone out there can help: (1) I've got some nice wallpapers I installed & I want my main screen free of as much of the clutter as possible. I took off the main icons that appear by default (games, msgs, phonebook & recent calls), now I want to (if possible) get rid of the battery strength indicator (if I need to know I can close the flip & check the outside display) along with the signal strength meter (available on outside display, the bell/buzzer indicator that says whether the ring is set to tone or vibe, etc etc including the Rogers logo and the bar along the bottom that indicates buttons to push for browser and camera. My question: HOW many of these are there ways out there to remove? (2) Setting up my phonebook, I set different ringtones to ID different callers. I do NOT have the caller ID service on my phone presently. All calls come in as "unknown call" and ALL ring the same (the tone I set as my main ringtone for incoming calls)...DO I need to subscribe to CID for the different entries to ring different as they come in? Thanx to any/all who can offer some assistance...
Were you able to get all that stuff off your main screen? I would like to get the bottom bar off of the main screen taht says camera and mmode. Did you get rid of those yet?
No I wasn't because - as you see - you were the first reply since I posted the message over a week ago...I solved the Ringer ID portion of the issue myself, so if that part of the problem is what is keeping people from offering suggestions, you don't have to worry. As if. Strange how some threads get picked up & people run with them, while others sit gathering dust from lack of assistance. I may have to post the query elsewhere as it seems I've hit a wall here.. If I get a reply elsewhere fatmouth, I'll gladly pm it to you..
