Hi guys as you can tell this is the first time i am posting, i have a big problem. for the past few years i have been using flashfxp to ftp, however the other day i had to do a fresh install of xp and now i have lost all the settings for my network. From what i have reread and remember i have set my xbox ip as static(192.168.0.3) and the primary DNS as 192.168.0.1 which is the same as my pc's ip. however i am still not able to gain access to the xbox using flashfxp. any help would be appreciated.

ps: im using evox dash and standard xover cable.

    Hi,

Make your PC ethernet nic's IP 192.168.0.4

Allow this connection in whatever firewall you are running also.

    Regards

all you have to do is look at what ip you have on Evox and match that with flash fxp.....there should be nothing else to it your using a cross over cable so the ip should be static not dhcp...
