Major Problem With Downloding Anything

Right, everytime i try to download anything it brings up an error message about not verifying the publisher like so:



it does everytime i try to download something even official microsoft software, has anyone had this problem before because its really pissing me off.

im running xp sp2 with all updates from microsoft update and IE7.

There isn't a way to get rid of it, but its no big deal.

 

it is for me because i cant download anything. i cant download itunes which means i cant buy songs for my ipod, i cant get windows live messenger so i cant chat to people, i cant download any antivirus software. so yes for me it is a big deal

 

Lower security settings in IE, should cure it.
I'd say you should switch to Firefox, cause IE 7 is an accident waiting to happen.

 

Ya, like The_Fiend said, change to Firefox, my favorite browser, no hassle.

 

ok sorry will do it now.

btw the problem still happens when i download anything in firefox as well.

 

Call microsoft, explain the problem, and have them fix it.
