Alright, so today I received a Sandisk Mobilemate in the mail and I'm having some major troubles with it. After I insert the the Mobilemate into my USB port a new drive comes up in My Computer called "Removable Disk", I try to double click on it and it says "Please Insert Disk". So I put my Sandisk Card into the Mobilemate and try again, and it still says the same thing. I unplug it and put the card in before plugging it back in and it does the exact same thing. I've tried restarting my computer several times while having it plugged in and there has been no luck. I'm running on XP by the way, so I shouldn't have to install the 98 Driver. I got fed up and went ahead and installed the 98 Driver which didn't do any good. I tried doing this on another Computer and had the same problems. I've tried it in all of my different USB ports and have tried a few different Sandisk cardcards.

I've looked up some reviews for this product online and have found a ton of bad reviews from people having the same exact problem is me.

Any help would be great, thanks.

After all your install efforts and even seeking out reviews for the product, which speaks volumes for you by the way, perhaps it's time to send "it" back along with a genuine list of complaints even at this early stage. Let's face it...we all get a lemmon or two eventually. As dissapointed as you must feel at present, give the darn thing back and let them do the sorting out.

    just my opinion.

    All the best xHybridx.

Yeah I guess I'll probably go ahead and ship it back, only bad thing about that is that I'd be shipping it to Japan, so since that's pretty spendy I don't even know if it's going to replace the money I'd get back in the first place.

    Thanks for the response.

Not quite what i meant though...lol Unless these sorts of things vary so differently from here in Australia, can't you either take it back to the point of sale or to their appointed repairer? It's my opinion that you have a justified beef with the product....bugger sending it back to the manufacturer. Afterall it ain't your fault eh?
