make video dvd ??

    I am trying to make a video dvd which i can play on my DVD player. I have some .mpeg-2 files or .DAT files in my computer. i want to make video dvd of all those files. Kindly guide me. i have made a video dvd but it is giving me error whenever i put it in my dvd player. kindly guide me how can i make video dvd???

    i am using adobe encore dvd 2.0 ... or i have also nero burner but there is no option for making video dvd in nero burner. or adobe encore is lilbit complicated ...

    You only have Nero Burning ROM?
    You sure don't have either Nero Vision Express or Nero Vision 4 which are authoring programs?
    Perhaps someone who knows Adobe Encore can step in.
    Meanwhile what size are the mpegs.
    Are they different unrelated clips or from a movie, TV episode.

    In the meantime try to see if you can import one of the mpegs into this program.
