Hi, Im not sure this is the right sight for this issue but Im not sure where else to take it. What Im trying to do is scan a document so I can edit it in word. Scanning creates the image file and i thought if I could scan it into Adobe PDF writer and save it as a word document I could edit it in Word 2003. The result was it just stayed as a image in Word. Im wondering if anybody knows how to make it editable in Word, any help would be greatly appreciated. DonutHead.
I think there's a special program for doing that. I think it's called An OCR (Optical Character Reader). I don't know exactly where to get one but you can google it.
