I mean would it work? i want to use for my pc or maybe just anothere CD player any help?
A motherboard or soundcard's signal strength is way too small to hook speakers like that to. You would need something to boost the signal enough for the speakers to output any real volume. If you have a pair of powered PC speakers lying around, you could always hack them and sun the amp inside the set to the larger speakers. *shrug* 3.55mm stereo jacks/cables are two core (positives for left and right signals) with a ground wire wrapped around them. It's easily to figure out which wire belongs to which part of the shaft (tip and middle parts for left and right) with a muli/volt meter. Hope this helps, j
