Hi, I use some different programs, like Premiere, MovieMaker, Vegas and UVideoStudio to capture from my DV cam to an uncompressed AVI, then I encode it to Mpeg2, and then I make a SVCD, The problem is that when I see this SVCD sometimes its pixelate in my TV. I try to use the best capture settings and always have the same result. Anyone who knows what is happening ?

I use for all programs, the default settings to make a SVCD.
I capture form my DV cam, in NTSC AVI DV
I encode in SVCD: 29.97 fps, 224 PCM Audio, 480x480
    Thanks
I´m going to see the settings this weekend to be more specific.
    Thanks again

Check the bitrate you are encoding to. I doubt you're having any trouble with the capture, lets look at encoding first. For home movies going to MPEG2, I like to encode the video using a 2 pass variable bit rate with a target rate of 6000. This might be overkill, but it always looks great.
