Hi, I recently starting working on a laptop, which apparently had no firewall and possibly had viruses before.

So the first problem that I got was you know, this series of really annoying spyware: XP Antispyware 2010, or Smart Security 2010... where you remove them by ending process, deleting files and editing registry.

While I was doing that, I got problems such as, didn't have administrative rights to access registry or even task manager. Somehow I got through and deleted ave.exe but now another problem

While I was doing I apparently got like 10 other viruses. So I updated my AVG to latest things and scanned the PC, got like 30 Threats, most of which were in Application Data.

Deleted them, but this one thing remained. What it did was, it opened my IE window occassionally, but then I got a streak of viruses
I checked the processes, these two never end, after virus scans

Wqupaa.exe (could not find it on google)
    Wwr.exe

and it also does things like this

    Wwr. exe
    or
    Wwr. exe

same for msn messenger, there was this process

something like msnmsgr. exe with those spaces in it.

This time I also got a type of XP Antispyware..I think, cause it acts very similarly, I checked the process it isn't available anywhere.

    hvsxuyitssd.exe

It basically blocks internet/firefox and then it doesn't allow ANYTHING to be ran, I partially got rid of it, I can run my AVG now but I am pretty sure viruses are will soon be back and this one isn't even completely deleted yet, cause it just gave me the message about insecurity and sht.

Can anyone help me, or suggest any free software to use?

Thanks in advance, I might post HJ log if you ask, although I would have to download it and ... stuff :(

I would download and install Malwarebytes at this link.
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/

Try and boot into safe mode if possible.hit f8 key at boot up and select safe mode.
If you cant get into safe mode then boot as normal and switch off system restore.
Re boot and run a full scan which will probably take a while and see what happens.

Make sure system restore is switched off mate.
Tbh with it having so many infections i would always format the disk and do a clean re install rather than spend hours cleaning up an infected system..

Hey thanks for your replies. Don't you need to purchase malwarebytes to clean stuff?

Well anyways I used a spyware scanner to detect and delete stuff, and there was quite a bit, like 50.
