Ok. I want to transfer videos from my PC to my iPod, but iTunes is not working. Is there an alternative to do it?

Can you drag video files to iTunes and playback?

Make sure your video files is .mov or .mp4 or .m4v format.

drag video files into your iTunes library, or select 'Add File to Library' from the 'File' menu and select the encoded movies. Now you can watch it with iTunes or Quicktime Player on your PC.
Tips: Download iTunes 6+quicktime Player package from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html

Load the MP4 files to iPod by clicking 'File -> Update iPod'. Now, you can enjoy the movies on your fifth generation video iPod.

Try re-installing iTunes. Sure, you have to pay for Anapod, but it is a great program which I highly recommend.

There is a problem with the v 1.1 iPod firmware.

Read this from Cnet - http://reviews.cnet.com/4531-10921_7-6418290.html

And I have had many complaining of problems with video playback using the 1.1 software, the majority of which have found that downgrading to firmware vers 1.0 is the remedy.

It is not as much i dont think it is not bugged, but more i think people are being a little stupid by useing it too much. Itunes sucks, we all know that. Why walk into a wall when you can go around it...

iTunes is more than adequate for file transfers to your iPod (iTunes was designed [bold]around[/bold] the iPod). I am not saying it is perfect, as it's far from it, but it serves it's purpose.

Very true. As you said "iTunes was designed around the iPod" Itunes is neaver going to be perfect because it is designed around a tempormental product.

I have tried reinstalling iTunes several times. Cleaning the temp folders and other traces it might've left but still the same.

I would love to pay for anapod but im in another country.
