my disc drive has recently stopped working completely. brand new laptop. i am very frustrated, and can't seem to solve the problem. when i go into the device manager to check out the problem, it says this: Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41) does anyone know what the problem could be?

Hey, is there any patch or a region free firmare available for this damn DVD Ram drive...! It's locked now and I ve tried all kindsa software and region free players , but nothin's working...!! Would appreciate your help or suggestion.?
