I am looking for a driver update for a UJ-8205 DVD-RAM drive. I'm trying to read double-layer DVDs -and- DVD-RAM discs created from a Panasonic DIVA unit. Does such a driver even exist? The drive is in a Toshiba Satellite laptop Any help is appreciated - Thanks!
No - it doesn't read dual layer OR DVD RAM discs. I'm posting this for a friend who's trying to use Adobe Primere Pro 1.5 for video editing. He has a ton of stuff on DVD RAM discs - but the laptop doesn't recognize them.
tell your friend to get an external dual layer dvd burner as is not the driver you need but firmware update for the drive. if the drive is not capable of reading dual layer discs then can't be done except by getting a new drive.
