I put down 2 movies on one DVD using tmpgenc DVD author. The Author indicate that the data is just about 78 meg into red. But when I output the dvd, the VIDEO_TS data is about ~4.100gb. As per nero and RecordNow guides the data should not be more than 4.350gb. I wanted to confirm before burning dvd that as the video_ts will be written on the dvd, it should be able to accomodate the data(~4.1gb) prepared by the author.

    Please comment.

Sounds ok to me because some encoders will give a different size as to what your burning software reads it to be
My advice would be get a RW disc and then if it fails you don't lose

Dont speak in terms of GB cuz 4.1 is less than 4000MB. You should be able to put 4400MB on no problem. Mine is set at 4472MB
