maxtor 80gb

    hi
    hey if a maxtor 80gb drive says "lock not supported" (config magic) is there a way around it to lock it? (I tried the connecting it to a PC method using the win98 floppy and loaded HDLOCK just said drive not ready) it was one I had lying around, its unlocked ok, but the guy that wants it, says he would rather have it boot up the ms dash if he needed it with his chip off.

    I ended up putting a new seagate 80gb in, put the maxtor in my pc.
