To clear the information fields in Internet Explorer:

Tools, Internet Options. Click on the Content tab. Under Personal Information, click on the AutoComplete button. You can either uncheck all the boxes, or just click on each Clear button. Also, in the Advanced tab (end of first set of tabs), scroll down a bit, uncheck "Use Inline Autocomplete"
    (long aggravating solution)

    For Firefox version 1.5:

    Tools, Clear Private Data.
    (simple, clean and neat)
