    Hi.
anyone have any info on the MBO 916 DVD player.
is it a repackaged other brand.
also after any region hacks available.
I've looked all thru the forums and links and can't seem to find anything to do with this player, got a feeling its prob some major make but rebranded to sell cheap.
    Thanks all for any info

    Hi all,

In this german page there is information about the MBO DVD player 940 plus and 921. So I tried with mine and it worked, so maybe the same procedure works with the ones you have.

    http://www.chip.de/community_events...hreadid=216392&bwpage=2&bwsortorder=ascending

On the 2 and 3 parts of the list, there are some solutions.

If someone has problems to understand tell me and I will send you a mail with the english tranlation.

You can change the region code on the 916 by doing the following: 1.switch on without a dvd in the drive. 2. press these keys in this order, quickly. SETUP-NEXT-STOP-STEP-PREV-NEXT.
3.Menu pops up, the rest is common sense.

blob: I bought my MBO 916 at Safeway in Wapping, London. Days later they asked if it worked as many had been returned. I'm lucky, mine does work. Ideas for mp3 playing? It should have come with a 2or3 year guarantee.
