mcafee visual trace help

    i installed the mcafee firewall and it came with this visual trace thingy......but i have no idea how it works.....well...i have s light idea, but when i say slight i MEAN sliiiiiight......if anyone knows where i can earn more or offer any advice...i'd greatly appreciate it.
