I have a small question, I have these files from The Sims 2 on my comp, files included as follows: Sims2_1.mdf Sims2_1.mds Sims2_2.mdf Sims2_2.mds Sims2_3.mdf Sims2_3.mds Sims2_4.mdf Sims2_4.mds can someone please tell me how I can burn these to a CD and have it work? Preferrably sum1 willing to give me a step-by-step. I have Alcohol 120 full version. I am a newbie, any help will be greatly appreciated. (P.S. sorry if posted on wrong thread, no idea where something like this would go)
*cough* sounds pirated *cough* I'll try to answer the question anyway. .mds files are like .cue files and .mdf files are like .bin files You should be able to do it using Alcohol 120 % and the image burning wizard; select the appropriate .mds file for each cd (4 cds).
You can burn each disk eg... Sims2_1.mdf Sims2_1.mds to a cd then burn Sims2_2.mdf Sims2_2.mds and so on, it seems you have the cd versions as there are 4 of them.... and btw piracy is a good way to be some buddys prison bitch.
Is there anyway other than burning each file onto a cd? like an iso image that could be emulated? I tried using Alcohol's image making wizard and convert the file mdf file to iso but Daemon tools couldnt mount it. Similarly i saved the mdf file to .iso using WinIso.. but upon extraction it just gave back the original mdf file... any ideas?
As per the revised forum rules this question is perfectly acceptable. Use Alcohol's virtual drive to mount the image
