medal of honor pacific assult

    I get a windows box that comes up and says "Medal of honor pacific assult requiers a video card that fully supports directx 8.1
    The video card in this system does not fully support directx 8.1 .I have a Gforce mx 440 64 mb video card,I have installed directx 9.0.I checked what version i have of directx and it is directx 9.0.So my question is why the game won't run.

    last ms update for directx is 9.0c. check game site for any patches for your card, also check nvidia for latest video driver
