Media File Error with VCD on DVD

    I'm trying to encode VCD files on a DVD. I've followed the step by step guide and converted the mp2 audio file to 48000kHz and renamed it to .mpa.

    However when I use Spruceup to author the DVD I get the following error message.

    media file error (-1056243711) with ********.mpa

    I've tried two different covertion tools for the audio and have also tried a number of different VCD files. The same error occurs each time.

    Has anyone seen this error before and am I doing something stupid?

    Try using an encoder that doesn't seperate the video + audio maybe (?)
