Can someone please help me. I was trying to teach my father in law how to encode hd video using MEGUI. Somehow during the process of pulling up megui, checking screens, etc. I've messed something up on my own computer.

I uninstalled avisynch, matroski splitter, ffshow, and megui and reinstalled them. I installed CCCP. I then copied a folder which I kept that has megui v0.3.0.3001 and all the configurations onto my c drive. I manually went in and rerouted all of the video formats to point to c:megui instead of c:/programs/megui. I then changed the logfile to point to a generic file I named log inside the logs folder.

Can someone please help me figure out why megui will not work now?

    Thank you.

The log looks like megui is calling on avisynth which is calling on x264 and the registry says it should be in program files. You moved it so the registry value is no longer correct and you are getting the errors.

You can either move it back to program files folder or reinstall everything wherever you want. If you do decide to reinstall you might want to run a reg cleaner to get rid of the old values that will likely be left behind before you reinstall.

Thank you. I moved it to c:/programs/megui and it worked perfectly. Or at least it is beginning to convert. :)
