I did a search, but couldn't find quite what I was looking for. I have the Memorex 16x Dual Layer Internal DVD RW drive, and I burned a DVD with it. After it succesfully finished, I put the DVD back in the drive to make copies of it, and my computer will not recognize anything as being in the drive. It appears to only be doing this with DVD-R's, as CDRs are ok, and real "store bought" DVD's work just fine too.

Can anyone give me any help with this? I have updated the most recent firmware and it didn't help.

Moved to a more appropriate forum.

It's probably that the dvd's aren't compatible with the drive.
Try taking the burn speed down a notch.
Use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell (if you can still find those)
