I am wanting to upgrade the memory on my emachine computer W3644. Right now it only has 1gb total memory and I want to upgrade it to 2gb. I did a computer scan to see what type of memory was currently installed and this is what it shows: 2GB kit (1GBx2), 240-pin DIMM, DDR2 PC2-5300 memory module CT782971 Module Size: 2GB kit (1GBx2) Package: 240-pin DIMM Feature: DDR2 PC2-5300 Specs: DDR2 PC2-5300 • CL=5 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR2-667 • 1.8V • 128Meg x 64 • I found some memory on sale at newegg but I'm not quite sure if it is the same. If someone who knows more about this could help me out I would appreciate it. The memory I found on newegg is this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...146526&cm_sp=DailyDeal-_-20-146-526-_-Product Crucial 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail Model Brand Crucial Model CT2KIT12864AA667 Type 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Tech Spec Capacity 2GB (2 x 1GB) Speed DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Cas Latency 5 Voltage 1.8V Heat Spreader No What I'm wanting to know is if the memory from newegg is the same as currently in my computer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Peg
