I have a whole bunch of small MPEG files that I want to merge together. What's the best program to use? Thanks in advance for any help.

I personally like to use "Womble Mpeg2VCR" or "Womble Mpeg Video Wizard 2005" for Editing and Joining Mpeg files and it is really fast and if all of the Mpeg files have the same Properties then there will be no quality loss.....

as for Freeware Joiners I don"t know of any accept the "Mpeg Tools" in "Tmpgenc" which is a Buggy Joiner....

    Cheers

I tried using MPEG Tools in Tmpgenc but for some reason I can get them to merge and the video is fine but there's no audio. What am I doing wrong?

Well it could Be because maybe one of the Mpeg files has Different audio properties in which case the audio wouldn"t join properly...

If you use Mpeg2VCR it will Join them and if one of the Files has audio that is different than the rest of the Files it will re-encode that files audio so it matches the rest of the files....

    Cheers

I would use MPEG2VCR but I was hoping there was a free program that I would use. Are there any out there?

Sory But I don"t know of any freeware Mpeg Joiners that are reliable which is why I allways use a proper Mpeg Editor like Womble...

    Good luck
