When ever I try to join two video using VirtualDub it complains that the two video have different video streams of data format. How can I get around this? Here are some info about the two video i'm trying to join. 1st Video: Width: 640 pixels Height: 480 pixels Duration: 1:27:44 Bit Rate: 128kbps Audio Format: MPEG Layer-3 Frame Rate: 23 frames/second Data Rate: 109kbps Video Sample Size: 24 bit Video Compression: XVID 2nd Video: Width: 640 pixels Height: 480 pixels Duration: 0:20:31 Bit Rate: 128kbps Audio Format: MPEG Layer-3 Frame Rate: 23 frames/second Data Rate: 109kbps Video Sample Size: 24 bit Video Compression: XVID
Well It seems that Both of the Files are exactly the same from the Stats that you posted so I don"t think that the Video is the Problem at all, i believe the problem is the audio Sample Rates are Probably different because the audio Format is probably VBR MP3..... If This is the Problem you can solve it by decompressing the audio in both AVI files and then Joining the 2 Files with Decompressed audio..... If you run the 2 AVI files through this tool it will decompress the audio for you and Leave you with AVI files that has uncompressed audio..... http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J7HNW11I The Tool will make the AVI files Much Bigger because the audio will be Uncompressed but if you are going to put the Files say on to DVD then it will not affect the File of the Files after it has been encoded to DVD Format..... If you want the files to stay the same Size you will have to re-compress the audio when joining the 2 Files with V-Dub.... Cheers
