I've tried both Pinnacle and now Nero to try to sort out an ongoing problem of my burner spitting out the DVD-R after writing about .05Mb on it! Lately, I've seen no buffer activity, after trying and trashing about 10 DVD-R's. Here's the log, I hope something glaring sticks out... Jaybeee The only things I see that stick out: Upgrade to the latest version of Nero - 6.6.0.16 Usually means your drive doesn't like the media but your using Ritek which is usually recommended by most manufacturers and your firmware is up to date. There also a KEY_ABORTED_COMMAND error assoc w/ it and I'm not sure about that one. Have you tried other types of nedia? Did they work? Slow it down to 4x and see if it helps. I would also try cleaning the drive with/ canned air or a lens cleaner. Here are some reviews at videohelp.com for your drive - only 11 but a quick glance thru them shows some unhappy customers: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters...=&orderby=Name&hits=25&Search=Search&country=
