I'm trying to setup a database for dry cleaning orders. I figured I would use Excel because I didn't want to learn a whole new program. Depending on how many pieces you enter, I want a columns to appear where each have their own drop-down menu to select which item of clothing. Then Excel will automatically calculate assigned prices of each item selected in the drop-down menu without typing the prices in. I know how to setup the drop-down list but I can't get the pricing thing. Also, I want a new sheet everyday with no entries but all of the headings still up everyday, is there anyway to do that? Any help is greatly appreciated, SERIOUSLY!!

Here's a screenshot of the Excel wkst:

to calculate the total of cells (say F2 to F20, type =SUM(F2:f20) in the cell you want the total in. is that what you're having trouble with?

a macro is where you can create multiple functions and tasks just by clicking one button. I've seen a lot of fancy excel sheets using macros, but not sure what they can all do, the help funciton probably has more details about it. just an idea
