MICROSOFT LOG OFF

    just re done my os again on the same pc but this time when i log off it gives me this windows message .... is safe to shut down now, so instead of the normal my pc sutting down i have to crawl under my desk an hold the buttin down till it shuts off.pain in the ass.whent into account log off in settings no help. tryed bios instant off setting samething, what iam i doing wrong ?could use some advice, thank you OKIE,

    is this xp... sounds like 98 or something.

    i never had the safe to shutdown screen... lol

    reply and i will try and help.

    till then have you scanned your registry for problems.

    THANKS FOR GETTING BACK WITH ME I HAVE THE LATEST WINDOWS XP, YOU ASKED IF I CHECKED MY REGISTRY .,I SCAN IT NOW AND THEN ,BUT THAT DOESNT SEEM TO BE THE PROB:THANKS AGAIN.

    what that means is its safe to 100% to shut off the main a/c power..
    to your computer your must be caught in a loop...or install a corrupt software program.

    i have seen that when you firmware flash a burner in a hp computer.
