MIDaway port problem

    whan i am setting the port that is used by my phone in the MIDaway it says "Cannot open serial port! Would you like to change MIDway settings?" and if i press No the program exits, if Yes it sends me to the settings tab...
    I tried everything belive me! Does anyone know what to do??

    I had the same problem...just go through all the ports until one works. Mine worked on port 4, so just try them all.

    but then i wont upload the files... something else..?

    Do you have the Motorola USB drivers installed?

    Can u connect with any OTHER programs like P2KMan, or MPT, etc./


    If the answers to the above are 'yes' you're in good shape.

    IN windows go to start > settings > control panel > phone and modem options

    click on one of the tabs there and you should see the modems you have installed.

    Motorola USB modem should be one of them...click on that to find the properties, and that COM port should be what you put into Midway.

    Thanks guys I solved my problem, my PC was infected by some virus and i couldn't instal new hardware, then I reinstalled my OS and everything was ok.

    You can download Bezol's p2k tools off motomodders.net and its easier to put games on your phone with that program.
