Lately it seems that something has gone bad inside my computer. ok not really but the playback quality of midis on my computer has been really off as of late. Its driving me mad. Is there some sort of codec I can download or maybe somewhere I can check to see if there is a codec I already downloaded that would be causing the problem? thanks
i use winamp for midi playback. you can check codec installed by using device manager. right click on my computer, select manage
I have winamp also but its the same on any player. All of the midis seem somewhat distorted or just way out of tune. Edit: I fixed it! I just went down the line of codec packs I had installed and removed them one by one untill it played back normaly. Thanks for the help.
