I HATE those shitty-sounding MIDIs on websites- don't you? But if you're making a site, there's seemingly no other format available for integration into a page (right?), so I'm stuck with trying to find an mp3/wav to MIDI conversion prog. Any recommendations? Do they even exist?! Alternative solutions to my problem? ANYTHING?!

The quality of the MIDI sound depends on your soundcard. MIDI files only contain the note & instrument information which the soundcard interprets and plays.
