I have a Canon ZR70(MC) digital video camcorder with Mini DV tapes. I have several tapes of my boys when they were babies that I would love to get to my desktop computer's harddrive (Windows Vista). Can somebody please help me in doing so? I'm new to this and will not be offended if you dumb it down for me. Thanks in advance for all your help.

A combination video camera, recorder and player in one unit. Prior to camcorders, the camera and tape recorder were separate devices that were cabled together.Today, all video cameras are digital camcorders that record on DVDs, hard disks, flash memory cards or MiniDV tape cassettes.
