i would like to transfer a video from my mini dvd camcoder onto dvdr. is it possible, how, what software or hardware, any guide, any free software. i know notj=hing about it. thanks.

Interesting point: Originally the wituation was Recode = Shrink - DeCSS. The guy who developed Shrink was offered a job by Ahead (which was the name of the company before they renamed to Nero) and he took the code with him....
@TPFKAS. thanks a lot, that link is really going to help. About shrink/recode2, after backing up so many movies with both programs, i have come to the conclusion that recode2 does output better picture quality than shrink, although they are very close. the latest Recode2 in nero 7 is just amazing, i know Rebuilder is the best thing outthere but, Recode2 is a very close second.
