Hi, I been wanting to upgrade my 2nd pc at work(mainly to play oblivion)
so i might by an 8400 gs. My main concern is the psu. I think it's 295W, would that be enough for the 8400? The pc is a sony vaio pcv-rs720g.

An 8400GS will play oblivion (just), but why buy such a weak card when there are better ones for no more cost? Try and find something like an HD4550 or ideally an HD4650, all will run off that PSU, assuming they fit your case.

Cool, I was mainly worried about the psu, but it seems there is no need to be. I will look into the suggested cards. Much appreciation. :)

EDIT: My pc supports PCI express x16, while the hd 4550 cards at newegg are PCI Express 2.0 x16. Is there anything else you can reccomend. What about an 8600 GT?

Lol, it doesn't require any power connectors. As is often the case, the Guru3D article is wrong.
