mismatch between voice n video

    whn encoded the .mpeg file (movie) into a divx format,
    when playing the divx file i saw some mismatch for some seconds between video and voice
    can any one tell what problem it is adn a remedy for ir

    There are many things that can cause an audio sync problem.

    To try to help, I would like some more information from you.

    What software did you use to re-encode your MPG video into DivX.
    What audio coded did you use when you re-encoded.

    One solution that might work is to separate the audio to a wav file, then re-encode the video with audio set to a codec with a constant bitrate (using your new wav file as the audio source).

    To be more helpful, I would like to know exactly how you converted your MPG file to DivX. Mainly, what software you used, and what you did.

    I'm having the same problem. I used Auto GK. Audio is way off from the video. Any help is appreciated.

    Also make sure you are converting at the correct framerate.
