    Hello,

I have installed 1GB RAM of memory in my PC. 1x 512MB and two 256MB. However, My Computer is showing my RAM as 768MB.

I thought it would be my VGA as I have added a NVIDIA graphic card but Device Manager is showing NVIDIA only and no VGA.

My motherboard is EPoX P4MKI if that helps.

try the 512meg by itself to see if seen correctly or not as i believe it will be not.

Which graphics card? If your card supports Turbocache, it uses your system RAM as its own memory, rather than having proper graphics memory to use instead, so your missing 256MB might be going to that.

I've tested 512MB on its own - it was showing as 512MB, then I added 256MB RAM - it also showed as 768MB. But when I added another 256MB - it wouldn't show up.

My graphic card is GeForce FX 5600.

Ah, no that card doesn't use TC. I'd avoid using 512+256+256 as a memory combination. Try and use 2x512MB instead.
