I have a small problem when trying to transcode an .mkv file to dvd with Avi2DVD. If I try to load it, it says: Interface not supported.

    Help??

Probably avi2dvd can't handle mkv files.

No, it can. Says so in the specifications, and, besides, now it does load, only, VDubMod won't work this time. After it has parsed the files, it just shuts down!

    Aarrrg!

Maybe it only supports some mkv's. Do you know how it loads them? What apps it uses, etc.?

As for VirtualDubMod, its mkv support is out of date. From recollection their is a popup to that effect when you first run it. Think it also suggests using mkvtoolnix.

Nope, I'm sure it isn't h264, as I tend to avoid them. I know they don't work with avi2dvd.

I'm close to giving up, because now it won't even transcode a normal avi (encoded with xvid). Problem with AviSynth, because when I use HCenc, it can't find the avs file (or something to that affect)...
