    Hi!

Is it possible to put ripped blu ray movie .mkv file on a usb stick and watch it from your dvd player? Got an Sony BDP-350S blu ray player and a 46" sony bravia. Was planning to buy a Sony Micro Vault Click 16GB (18 Mt/s reading speed is it fast enough?) cause I have tried to burn these movies on DVD+R DL and with bad success. Could i have subtitles on these movies if I get em on the flash drive?

Also i would like to know why my burned dvd's didin't work correctly. I used ts muxer to mux video and subtitles to blu ray disc and burned the folders with imgburn on a DVD. Worked fine on the player but the screen was splitted on the middle. Like the picture started from the middle and went to the right side of tv and continued on the left side and ended on the middle so there was a line on the middle of the screen. On PS3 there was a huge green bar on bottom.

So if you could give me an advice how to play these .mkv files and subtitles from an external media on my dvd player which has a usb port on the back and can be used to a usb flash drive or how to burn them correctly on a DVD.

    Thanks

Look at the sticky at the top has a guide how to do it all, I have yet to get my blu-ray player BDP-1500 to play from USB but in theory it should work.
