ok. if i download an hd movie from an unnamed source, and its in the x264 format in a .mkv container, is it possible to convert it to HD-DVD format to play on a player?
well, you first have to get the hd-dvd then i would suggest using nero and select make data dvd that should work cause nero does just about everything
Has anyone figured this out yet? the furthest it gets is this http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=705146 BUT THERES ONE BIG PROBLEM!!! VIDEO REDO DOES NOT OPEN .MKV! (or.ts) can anyone PLEASE help with this.
ok cool thanks alot, ive been working with mkvextractgui and taking the h264 video and ac3 audio and trying to mux them using elecard. basically my goal for that was to mux the two tracks into an mp4 container so ulead movie factory 5 can understand it and then author the hddvd that way. i have yet to try using Scenarist at all so ill get that and see how it goes. elecard doesnt really seem to be doing anything when i start the muxing process.
