it should work off either down convertyor if its an official box . it wont be anything to do with codes. if it goes into network configuration after 20/30 seconds then the box is not receiving a signal. make sure all your leads are connected properly and if there was 2 boxes in that house before you could have it on the wrong line off splitter thats not allowing the 21v to the down convertor as the splitter is only power pass on one side

does not make sence cos the sub box def works off either the 222 or the 214 down convertor. when box is in stand by mode is the time on the display or is it like this --;-- . if the time is not on it that means its not getting signal

Just because a dodgy box will work in an area a subbed box might not for obvious reasons region freq can be different on their platform also a dvb-c box will not work on a dvb-t system so make sure its a terrestial box and not a cable box also be aware that if the mmds was on the NTL platform the chorus mmds platfore is totally different

no different region frequency for mmds that subbed box wont pick up.. obviously its a dvb-t area he is in or the eurovox tx would not work .. what area did you bring the subbed box from hicone ?

there is m8 belive me just remember they have changed over to N3 now and as such the regions have moved belive me.

Also if he is from a NTL mmds area that box will not work in a chorus MMDS area and the eurovox will pick it up as all you change on that is the symbol rate where as the subbed box is totally different in that respect

so what is your reply to that ??

you cant change symbol rate on eurovox tx chorus mmds to work on ntl mmds as one is dvb-c and the other dvb-t. and fakerbake i was not saying wrong about E45s post like us all we are just trying to help

that is not what im saying they said that the eurovox tx was working at their house but when they brought there subbed box to another house it did not work.

That is why i said that the house they brought the box to could have been MMDS ntl and as such the subbed box would not work there as that box would be DVB-T and ntl used DVB-C

A lot of areas that where chorus MMDS are now MMDS ntl and use DVB-C
