hi guys im back again with a new problem..my computer only stays for about 5 to 10 minutes on then shutdown when i press the power button again it wont turn on unless you turn the avr off then leave it for a couple of seconds then turn the avr on and the mobo will turn on...OS problem ive checked it theres no problem..i think the mobo has a hardware problem but no signs of burns and bloated capacitors and the PSU is brand new...coz the old PSU has been damaged by the processor fan..the temperature is fine kicking in 35 to 45 degree celcius...tried changing memory card nothing happens its still the same...tried removing memory and HDD still same nothing happens keeps on shutting down by itself everytime i turn it on when it shuts the time shortens like from 5 or 10 minutes on it decreases to 3 - 4 minutes on then shut...it has only built in video card...the mobo is p5kpl-am se...hope u guys can help me this is the only forum in the internet that i can trust and count on hehe ^_^ hope you can answer me

try the motherboard outside of the box to see what happens & be in hardware monitor in the bios to see what the cpu temp goes to.

try another psu. if have more then 1 stick of ram then try 1 at a time. do you have onboard video, videocard or both? if both then try onboard. try another videocard if don't have both.
