Alright my xbox has error 7 and it blinks Green and Red. I was told i could fix it with a modchip. What would i have to do to fix my xbox with a modchip? ALSO I have a couple more of questions. What is the point of putting a modchip in your xbox? What is the best [bold]SOLDERLESS[/bold] modchip to get? With a modchip will i have to set anything up once i put it in? Will my xbox be able to read burnt DVDs?
u can get a solderless adapter to put the mod chip in if u dont want to solder, u would prob need another hd but u can try the one u have first, i would go with xecuter mod chip, does the job, once u get the chip in u will need to flahs the bios, fairly simple if u use the HTTP option
yea error 7 is a hdd prob if it hasnt been opend or moded it is likly u will need a new hdd but if it has i would check the ide cable and make sure it is in properly
