Im thinking of buying a modchip and having a local store install it I live in canada and want to shop out of canada only(shipping reasons.I want just basic features (copy games to the hard drive, play dvds without playback kit,ect.)can someone tell me what chip i should use for my needs its gotta be relativly cheep, under 30$ canadian if possible. i was gonna softmod but the owner of the xbox doesnt want me too (damn little bro)"too risky".
http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/dd-xb-duox2cr.html DuoX 2 is a very cheap modchip but all a modchip does is load different bios so everything you said you want, comes from setting up your harddrive, and to install is the easiest thing ever, and if your local shop only installs you might look into saving your self some money and either going solderless or learning to solder. There are better modchips out there but for what you want that one will do. degalle
I was wondering the exact difference between the modchips of Xecuter 3 CE and the Duox2 chip? I already have a X3 chip just my modder is saying to sell it on he could get me at least 75% of my money back. Also he had the idea of using the custom x-disk rather then the disk i already have with is slayer's evo x 2.6? just wondering opinions just unsure which would be the best. Thanks
